HOW TO PLAY

Simply select a team of 6 players, including yourself, from the published Player Lists, non-cricketers have a free choice, i.e. 1 player from each of the six groups.   

You must select 1 player out of each of the 6 specified groups.

There is no restriction on the specialization type of the players, therefore you are free to fill your team entirely with batters, bowlers or fine legs should you so wish.

Starting Date of League

The Greenheath Fantasy League starts on 27 April 2008.

Late Entries

You can enter the Game at any time but late entries will only start scoring points from the next unstarted Greenheath CC match.

Entry Fee, Registration and Prize

The Entry Fee is £10 per Fantasy Cricket Team. £5 will go into the prize fund. £5 goes to the Club. One prize only for first – winner takes all. All registrations to be given to Paul Cant, along with cheque made payable to Greenheath CC. Online registrations (see entry form link below) will automatically send your selected team to Paul and this website admin. Non payment of entry fee after the 1 July will deem entry invalid. Please remember, if you enter online, to give or send your £10 cheque, made payable to Greenheath CC, to Paul Cant.

Transfers

One transfer (player replacement) will be allowed, it must be a straight swap involving players from the same group. The Transfer Window opens on 1st August and closes on 31st August.

Tie-breaks

In the event of two or more teams having the same score at the end of the competition for first prize, a tie-break will come into effect. This tie-break will be decided by the guess closest to the total runs scored by Greenheath CC over the entire season.

Scoring Points

Scores will be updated, as soon as possible, between games.
