FINES – A ROUGH GUIDE
Fines are a fund raising exercise, with the emphasis on fun and the revenue from them is used at the end of season dinner and prize-giving. The information on this page attempts to clarify the club’s existing fines system and these fines are separate, but in addition to the weekly match fee.

Fines Officer
A Fines Officer will be appointed after each match by the captain. They will be solely responsible for any decisions and the collection of the fines. 

The Fine Costs
For ease of use ALL FINES ARE 50p.
There will be a match maximum of £2 per player.
Concessions – (unemployed/students) will have their fines halved.

Batting
Golden Duck or Duck
Running out a team mate 
Out for less than 25 runs (top 4)
Out for less than 10 runs (top 5-8)
Out between 45-49 runs
Out between 95-99 runs

Bowling and Fielding
Wicketless having bowled over 4 overs
Conceding more than 40 runs
Bowling 5 or more Wides 
Bowling 3 or more No Balls
Dropped catches that are considered "catchable"

General
Late to game (after due start)
Dissent to authority including umpires, captain or opposition.
Persistant whingeing.
Any act of stupidity or lunacy deemed unsuitable by the appointed fines officer.
